Sign-In and Account Recovery
A short guide for users who are stuck getting back into their vault or are unsure how they originally signed in.

This article is written for visitors arriving from support chat or first-time setup questions.
If you originally signed in with Google
Return with Google. Do not try password recovery if your account was created through Google sign-in.
If you use email and password
Use the password recovery flow to reset access to your account.
If you are not sure which method you used
Try the sign-in method you most likely used first. If that fails, contact support from the email address you believe is linked to the account.
When to contact support
- You cannot tell which sign-in method was used
- You are no longer receiving recovery messages
- You believe the account email address changed
